For this garden immersed in a splendid natural setting, characterised by shady broadleaf forests in a fresh and restful landscape, we were inspired by the architectural style of the buildings as well as by the natural context.
The style of the villa recalls North American modernist architecture, so a similar approach was followed for the garden, which shows areas with a geometric design and is free from frills.
Plants with interesting foliage or well defined structure were preferred to flowering shrubs or plants with a natural appearance: the well-defined volumes of the green elements reproduce the clean lines of the architecture in the garden, while the variety of foliage conveys a general impression of luxuriance that is well suited to the character of the context.
This results in an elegant garden with no ostentation, harmoniously inserted into the surrounding environment as an ideal declination of architecture in the landscape.
The presence of water, declined as a bio-pool or fountain, emphasizes the freshness of the natural environment, highlighting the connection of the garden with the woods that surround it.
The climatic conditions, particularly favorable in terms of annual rainfall, have allowed the creation of a pond for the accumulation of water coming from the drainages planned during the construction phase: this allows to maintain the lush appearance of all the plants even in the hottest periods of the year, as well as the easy management of the lawn present in various areas of the garden.
Thanks to the abundant shade and the effective management of the water, the garden maintains its welcoming and refreshing character, giving its best in the summer period.
