Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas (Hydrangea macrophylla) are among the most used species in our gardens.

Given the sensitivity of the buds to the cold, hydrangeas should be pruned rather late compared to other plants.

We must also be very careful to avoid wrong pruning that removes the flowering buds brought to the tip of the branches of a year.

If we do not preserve these branches we will lose the June flowering, the most spectacular, and we will have to settle only for the summer flowering with numerous but smaller flowers.
