Imported from America to England at the beginning of the 19th century, Hydrangea quercifolia is a magnificent plant belonging to the same genus as hydrangeas.
It is a shrub of rather large size, characterized by beautiful engraved leaves reminiscent of those of oaks and that in autumn take on splendid rusty red colors.
The large flowers, white or pink, gathered in panicles, appear in summer and have the typical elegance of all hydrangeas.
An interesting plant in every season and certainly more sought after than the most famous hydrangeas.
